Inventory
The Inventory menu in Cloudhouse Guardian (Guardian) is the location for adding, deleting, configuring, and organizing your assets. The functionality is divided between five tabs, by default. However, you can configure additional tabs to appear within the Inventory menu by speaking to your Cloudhouse Representative. The following topic describes the five default tabs that are displayed in the Inventory menu, as well as the optional Credentials tab that was introduced in V4.3.46.0 of Guardian.
The following tabs are displayed within the Inventory menu:
| Tab | Description |
|---|---|
| Add Nodes | Location for adding nodes, individually or in bulk. For more information, see Add Nodes. |
| Detected | Nodes that have been detected via an integration sync, CSV upload, or automated scan of the network. For more information, see Detected Nodes. |
| Monitored | Nodes that are actively being scanned, potentially with policies or benchmarks assigned to them. For more information, see Monitored Nodes. |
| Connection Managers | Location for configuring and organizing connection managers and connection manager groups. For more information, see Connection Managers. |
| Search | Location for searching node scan results and file contents. For more information, see Search. |
| Credentials (Optional) | Location for adding, editing, viewing, and deleting credentials. Any credentials that are added to this tab are stored securely and encrypted using industry standard asymmetric encryption. For more information, see Credentials. Note: The Credentials tab and all associated stored credential functionality is only available from V4.3.46.0 of Guardian onwards. This is an optional feature that must be enabled. For more information, see July 2024 Quarterly Release. |
