Working as Expected |
Problem |
While adding a new AWS integration to Guardian, you are unable to save the integration if your instance is not connected to the Internet. Complete the following steps to replicate the above scenario: Note: This issue is only present if your Guardian appliance is not connected to the Internet. If the appliance is connected to the Internet, you are able to add an integration as normal.
An error message is displayed stating that the connection could not be established. |
Cause | Guardian attempted to call a public Amazon API mid-configuration. However, without an Internet connection the API call failed, resulting in the error message. |
Solution |
This issue was resolved in V3.45.1 of Guardian. Now, Guardian no longer makes the Amazon API call mid-configuration and you are able to save configurations as normal. Upgrade to V3.45.1 of Guardian (or later) to resolve this issue. |
Workaround | There is no workaround available for this issue. If you need to add a new AWS integration, you must upgrade to a newer version of Guardian. |
