| Problem |
For email reports sent via SMTP, if the authentication type was set to 'None', the action was failing and the following error message was displayed, 'check_auth_args: wrong authentication type none'. |
| Cause | This issue was caused by an underlying change in Rails that impacted the mailer functionality. |
| Solution |
This issue was resolved in V3.48.1 of Guardian. Now, email reports sent via SMTP work without error messages when the authentication type is set to 'None'. Upgrade to V3.48.1 of Guardian (or later) to resolve this issue. |
