New Features
Store Your Credentials All in One Place Using the Credential Vault
To perform certain tasks, Guardian may require you to provide credentials so it can access certain services on your behalf. For example, you may be prompted to enter an AWS Access Key ID or a set of ServiceNow credentials to integrate with those services. Previously, Guardian required you to enter these credentials manually wherever necessary. Now, you can store your credentials in one central location called the Credential Vault. Information stored in the Credential Vault is encrypted using industry standard asymmetric encryption, and it's accessible throughout Guardian via a Credentials drop-down list wherever your credentials are required. For more information, see Credential Vault.
Automate Change Reconciliation Using the ServiceNow Integration
The Automated Change Reconciliation functionality is now available to streamline your change management process between Cloudhouse Guardian (Guardian) and ServiceNow. The change reconciliation automation allows you to track and manage node changes by providing detailed comparisons between pre and post-change states, improving policies compliance and reducing the effort required for manual validation. For more information, see ServiceNow Automated Change Reconciliation.
Monitor End of Life Data for Configuration Items in Node Scans
Node scans performed by Guardian now collect End of Life data for relevant configuration items. If a configuration item has a built-in expiration date, that is now reflected in the results of a node scan. For example, you can now view the End of Life date for a node's operating system alongside other data for that configuration item. You can also configure policies to automatically monitor this data for you. For more information, see End of Life Data.
